I consider Alan Broadbent to be one of the greatest musicians of our times. His skills as an arranger can be appreciated in recordings by Marian McPartland, Scott Hamilton, Natalie Cole and Diana Krall. His piano work has been featured in albums by Natalie Cole, Charlie Haden and Shirley Horn, among others.
His solo on the song Thingin' is a masterpiece.This is jazz piano on its highest level.
